How Laundry Pickup and Delivery Works in Kathmandu — A Step-by-Step Guide

Laundry pickup and delivery services are relatively new in Kathmandu, so it helps to know what to expect before you book.

Step 1 — Book a Pickup

You can book via WhatsApp, phone call, or the form on our website. Tell us your address, preferred collection time, and roughly what you are sending. You do not need to sort the items — we do that.

Step 2 — Collection

Our rider arrives at the agreed time. They bring a bag and a docket book. Each item category is counted and logged on your docket, which you keep a copy of. Fragile or delicate items are noted separately.

Step 3 — Processing at the Plant

Your clothes go to our central facility in the Valley. Items are sorted by service type (wash, dry clean, iron) and fabric. Each bag is tagged with your name and phone number so nothing gets mixed up.

Standard turnaround is **24 hours** for wash-and-fold and ironing, **48 hours** for dry cleaning and carpet cleaning.

Step 4 — Quality Check

Before packing, each garment is checked for missed stains or damage and matched against your docket count.

Step 5 — Delivery

Your items are packed in clear bags with your name on each. The rider delivers to your door at the agreed time. You confirm the item count against your docket.

What If There Is a Problem?

We have a simple policy: any damage or loss that occurred in our care is our responsibility. We will reimburse up to the declared value of the item. Tell us at pickup if any item has pre-existing damage so we can note it.
